Now Hiring: Payroll Specialist (Temp Assignment)
Payrate: $26.42–$31.42/hr
Location: Scottsdale, AZ

Our team is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to support multi-state payroll operations and help keep things running smoothly. If you thrive in a dynamic setting and enjoy being the go-to problem solver when payroll questions arise, we want to meet you! What You'll Do
As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing. In this role, you will:

  • Process multi-state payroll for multiple locations weekly
  • Ensure payroll reporting, labor approvals, and compliance standards are met
  • Handle stop payments, reversals, and manual checks
  • Support tasks such as validating/loading files, W-2 reissues, and per diem processing
  • Reconcile monthly accounting tied to store-level payouts
  • Manage garnishments and support new store openings
  • Provide excellent service to employees and internal departments regarding payroll inquiries
  • Create and manage payroll cases through CRM case tracking
  • Cross-train on all payroll functions and assist with special projects
  • Document processes and contribute to continuous improvements
What You Bring
  • Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred (experience may substitute)
  • 1+ year of payroll experience in a high-volume environment
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical thinking
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a deadline-driven atmosphere
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Workday experience a plus
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to take on added responsibilities
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $26.42–$31.42 (based on experience)
