Exciting Opportunity: Laboratory Technical Manager – PFAS Testing Division Lead

Ready to lead and build a cutting-edge PFAS testing division from the ground up? We're looking for a motivated Laboratory Technical Manager to spearhead the development of a new environmental testing program focused on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in water and soil. This is a unique chance to shape a division through accreditation and beyond, making a real impact in environmental safety.
What You Bring:

Master's degree in chemical or biological sciences with 2+ years lab experience, OR bachelor's with 4+ years in analytical labs (HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS, ICP-MS)

2+ years experience in accredited PFAS labs and strong EPA regulatory knowledge

Minimum 1 year hands-on ICP-MS experience in commercial or government labs

Familiarity with ISO 17025:2017 accreditation (AIHA LAP a plus)

Bonus if you've worked with Shimadzu instruments, QBench LIMS, or metals analysis in environmental samples
What to Expect:

Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts, with occasional extended hours during PFAS program launch

Hands-on leadership role building and managing a new division from the ground up

Develop and implement PFAS testing methodologies and lab procedures

Ensure compliance with EPA, ISO 17025, and other regulatory standards

Lead accreditation and proficiency testing efforts

Manage and mentor a growing team of laboratory analysts and technicians

Oversee lab equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and reporting accuracy

Maintain rigorous quality control and documentation practices
