Are you a numbers-savvy, results-driven finance professional ready to take your career to the next level? We're looking for a Plant Finance Manager to join our client's team in Aiken, South Carolina. This is your chance to play a key leadership role in a high-impact, hands-on environment where your expertise in financial analysis and operational efficiency will help drive plant performance and profitability. Position open due to upcoming retirement for key player.
Responsibilities as the Plant Finance Manager, you'll be the financial backbone of the plant, responsible for:
- Leading the monthly and annual budgeting process
- Partnering with departments to control costs and hit financial targets
- Analyzing gross profit, cost variances, and labor/overhead performance
- Managing annual standard cost rolls and fixed asset capital budgets
- Driving plant productivity and efficiency initiatives
- Overseeing inventory processes and internal controls
- Supporting audits and month-end close with accurate journal entries and reconciliations
- Collaborating across teams to deliver actionable insights and support plant operations
- Tackling ad hoc financial challenges with a proactive and strategic mindset
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in financial management and plant accounting
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel (intermediate level or higher)
- Experience with Hyperion, Smartview, Crystal, BAAN, and/or Oracle is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making
- Comfortable with 5% domestic/international travel
