Plant Production Technician

Are you a hardworking individual looking for a long-term career in a manufacturing environment? We are currently seeking a Plant Production Technician for a fast-paced facility in East Houston. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with a clear path for growth and a guaranteed pay increase.

Job Details
  • Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour (with a pay increase after 90 days)

  • Shift: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Overtime as needed)

  • Location: Houston, TX 77015

  • Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Support: Operate machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing process to meet daily production targets.

  • Material Handling: Load and unload raw materials and finished products; move materials throughout the plant using manual or powered equipment.

  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of a respirator fit mask in designated areas.

  • Quality Control: Perform visual inspections of products to ensure they meet company quality standards and specifications.

  • Maintenance: Assist with basic cleaning and troubleshooting of production line equipment to minimize downtime.

Requirements
  • Safety Gear: Must be able to pass a respirator fit test and wear a mask comfortably throughout the shift.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a non-climate-controlled plant environment.

  • Reliability: Proven track record of excellent attendance and punctuality.

  • Experience: Previous experience in a plant, warehouse, or industrial setting is preferred but not required.

  • Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
