This is a direct hire Press Brake Setup Operator position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Position Information:
• Set up, adjust, and operate press brakes to perform standardized and repetitive production tasks on a limited variety of metal parts according to prescribed procedures and tooling.
• Select appropriate dies, set machine stroke, stops, and other controls needed for each job.
• Assist in setting up and adjusting press brakes for more complex forming and cutting operations, ensuring parts meet quality and specification requirements.
• Operate press brakes to perform progressive forming and precise cutting to produce complex or irregular metal shapes and contours.
• Read and interpret job instructions, blueprints, and part specifications to accurately execute required operations.
• Inspect finished products for quality, verifying dimensions and conformance to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and optimize production processes.
Required Experience:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-2+ years setting up and operating a press brake required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
