Our client, a leader in document and print solutions, is hiring Press Operators for its Atlanta production facility. This role is responsible for operating industrial cutting machines to trim bound books, manuals, and print materials to precise specifications, ensuring quality and consistency.


1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Monday – Friday Pay Rate: $18.00  
2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM Monday – Friday Pay Rate: $18.50  


Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate hydraulic book cutting presses to trim printed materials
  • Measure and align materials to ensure clean and accurate cuts
  • Monitor machine operation and adjust settings as needed for quality output
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of cutting equipment
  • Inspect final products for defects or inconsistencies
  • Follow job ticket instructions and production schedules
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience operating cutting equipment or other industrial machinery preferred
  • Ability to read measurements (ruler, caliper) and follow cutting specs
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
