Press Operator – B & C Shift
Rochester, NY (Near Gates – limited bus access)
Full-Time | Direct Hire | Weekly Pay
Do you have experience with digital presses or machine operation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're hiring Press Operators to join a leading print production facility in Rochester, NY. You'll be working with high-tech Canon and HP Indigo digital presses to produce top-quality books and card products. This is a great opportunity for mechanically inclined candidates looking to grow in a clean, organized, and safety-focused setting.
Shifts & Pay:
- Pay: $21.00 – $25.00/hour (based on experience)
- B Shift: Sunday – Thursday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- C Shift: Sunday – Thursday | 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
What You'll Be Doing:
- Set up and operate Canon iX 3200 and HP Series 3 digital presses
- Monitor press output for quality, accuracy, and consistency
- Troubleshoot minor issues and perform routine maintenance
- Operate additional finishing or casing-in equipment as needed
- Follow job specifications, safety guidelines, and daily production plans
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with 5S initiatives
- Support training of new operators and cross-train on other equipment
What You Bring:
- 2+ years in manufacturing or machine operation required
- Experience with digital or offset print equipment is a big plus
- Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable standing for full shifts and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Solid computer skills for order tracking and press interfaces
- Reliable transportation to and from work (limited bus access)
