Kelly is hiring for a Product Owner - Innovative Clinical Trial Recruitment position with one of our clients in Gaithersburg, MD.

  • Full time- W2
  • 12 months contract (May be extended or converted)
  • $50/hr
Job Description:
The focus of this role is to work with global product teams and leaders to understand patient recruitment needs at a disease and study level, developing appropriate solutions.?
The holder of this role will directly work with vendors to implement Innovative Recruitment solutions, services, and optimisations across multiple markets for specific programme and study needs.? They will also work closely with clinical development, operational and IT functions to ensure broader business needs and constraints are considered and met.?
The role holder will also work as a member of the Innovative Recruitment team to deliver engagement strategy and oversight for our enterprise service to support all clinical trials recruit, initially in the US.
  • Work closely with Global Product Teams and study leaders to develop Digital Recruitment Strategies to support both condition-based and individual study recruitment.?This will include channels such as digital marketing, data platforms and patient facing apps.? The strategy will incorporate the broad needs of the therapy/disease area, more specific needs of individual Global Product Teams and detailed needs of individual studies.
  • Find opportunities to test new engagement channels, optimise existing processes and pilot new ways of working with our biopharma study teams to accelerate clinical trial recruitment
  • Implement digital recruitment strategies at a condition and study level plan for the TA Digital Recruitment Strategy, working closely with Digital Health Implementation leads to configure specific platform needs.? Develop leading and lagging performance measures to assess and communicate clearly and accurately progress against plan.
  • Utilize performance measures to optimise engagement campaigns throughout period of recruitment
  • Deliver, oversee implementation and drive continuous optimisation of the engagement strategy for the enterprise clinical trial recruitment service supporting all clinical trials
  • Be an active member of the Innovative Recruitment team developing an industry leading approach for clinical trial delivery
  • Ensure effective and transparent risk, opportunity and issues management at strategic, tactical and operational levels
  • Deliver governance approved business cases within tolerance, on time, cost, and quality working with functional management as required to resolve issues.
  • Grow and maintain internal and external relationships, connecting the needs of key customers including TA, patients, health care providers and technology partners
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  •  Bachelor degree in a scientific, marketing or technology based subject area
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience
  • Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • A proven understanding of the drug development processes and the impact technology can have on these processes
  • Experience in Digital Health with an understanding of healthcare
  • Ability to lead and influence strategically and persuade thoughtfully, to acquire desired outcomes while maintaining effective, positive, organizational relationships
  • Ability to challenge the status quo, take ownership and hold self and others accountable
  • Experience leading implementation and strategy development teams and working in a global environment
  • Passion for Patients and Customers, representing the needs of multiple customers in decision making and planning
  • Experience implementing or overseeing digital marketing campaigns would be helpful to the role but not essential
