Kelly Services has a new temporary 6-month Production Analyst position available with our client a GMP food manufacturer located in Brantford, ON.
This position supports the UGP (Unit Group Production) Manager by analyzing data, monitoring performance, and assisting with planning and reporting to optimize production processes. The role focuses on improving production efficiency, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Budgeting:
- Collaborate with UGP and Maintenance Managers during the budgeting process.
- Assist in preparing headcount, expenditure, and investment budgets.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track and analyze production line performance (labor, materials, and equipment).
- Provide data insights and participate in production meetings.
Inventory Management:
- Ensure inventory accuracy and oversee monthly stock adjustments.
- Use systems like SAP to reconcile hours and manage inventory counts.
Gap Analysis and Scheduling:
- Identify performance gaps and address them.
- Work with planning teams to optimize production schedules.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
- Specialization in Production Management or Manufacturing Processes is a plus.
Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of production processes, efficiency models, and KPIs.
- Experience with inventory management and production planning.
- Advance knowledge in Excel and enterprise systems like SAP; familiarity with workforce management tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Additional Qualifications:
- Understanding of continuous improvement principles.
- Knowledge of quality and food safety standards, especially in food manufacturing.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
What's In It For YOU:
- Pay rate: $35.00-38.00 per hour + 4%vacation pay.
- Full-time hours, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm
- Weekly pay via direct deposit
