Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team. This role involves setting up and operating machinery, regulating furnace temperatures, inspecting tooling, mixing clay, and packaging products. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate production records, performing minor repairs, and ensuring quality production.
Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate jobs within the capabilities of the machine.
• Make all necessary adjustments to machinery and regulate furnace temperature.
• Inspect all tooling prior to setting up.
• Correct clay mixture at the blender whenever necessary.
• Keep accurate production and operating information.
• Pack ferrules efficiently and carefully.
• Responsible for box/container making, packaging, labeling, sealing, wrapping, and transporting products to inventory locations while maintaining appropriate documentation.
• Perform minor repairs on equipment and assist the Maintenance department with major repairs.
• Recommend changes or improvements in tooling when necessary.
• Mix clay accurately and efficiently.
• Frequently inspect work to ensure high-quality production.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a machine operator or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to make precise adjustments and maintain machinery.
• Familiarity with furnace temperature regulation and clay mixing.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Capacity to manage documentation and keep accurate production records.
• Basic maintenance skills and willingness to assist with repairs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to recommend process improvements.
