Production Supervisor - Edgewood, NY (Long Island)

JOB SUMMARY

Join our innovative team as a Production Supervisor in Edgewood, NY. This on-site role offers an exciting opportunity for experienced leaders who are eager to motivate and guide a team of 30+ employees. Your primary focus will be on supervising print operations within a single shift, ensuring seamless production, staff training, and effective communication with management. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining service levels, optimizing resource utilization, and resolving equipment/software issues. This position is perfect for those with a passion for leadership and a knack for operational excellence.

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Location: Brentwood/Edgewood, NY (Long Island)
  • Pay Rate: $75,000 - $80,000, plus bonus
  • Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM ET

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervise and ensure quality and timely production outputs.
  • Develop staff schedules and identify top performers for growth.
  • Monitor and report equipment issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Collaborate with Client Services to address and resolve print request issues.
  • Communicate potential workflow challenges and recommend solutions.
  • Prepare daily productivity and service level reports.
  • Crosstrain staff for operational resilience and document procedures.
  • Enforce attendance policies and administer corrective actions as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • College degree preferred but not required.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience, preferably in Production, Warehouse, or Retail.
  • Experience with print equipment is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
