What's a typical day as Production Supervisor - Material Handling? You'll be:
• Supervising all operations including inbound, outbound, and claims processing, while reporting to the Superintendent and Plant Manager.
• Covering crews in the supervisor's absence and facilitating crew meetings, ensuring proper documentation is submitted.
• Scheduling the workforce, including managing overtime and vacation, while championing continuous improvement initiatives for best-in-class performance.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have at least 1+ years of previous supervisory experience, preferably within a UAW/HVC environment.
• Possess a high school diploma, with additional safety training or licensing being a plus.
• Are a self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of interpreting data and making logical conclusions independently.
