Production Supervisor/ Team Lead

Job Type: Permanent; Full-time

Shift: Steady Nights; 7pm- 7am

Location: Brantford, ON

The Production Supervisor / Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily production routines, ensuring alignment with operational goals, and monitoring systems to meet final production specifications. This role also assists with operator training and serves as a liaison with the Shift Supervisor to coordinate daily activities. The Production Lead Hand plays a critical role in maintaining food and employee safety while supporting production efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with all production policies and procedures.
? Assist the Shift Supervisor in meeting quality and production targets.
? Provide leadership and guidance to production teams.
? Align crews to achieve daily production goals across multiple lines.
? Troubleshoot operational issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
? Collaborate with Process Controllers and production teams on trials, procedures, and work instructions.
? Train new and existing staff.
? Communicate production updates and concerns with the Shift Supervisor.
? Handle shipping and receiving of materials as needed.
? Lead by example with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
? Operate PLC systems, perform QA checks, and data/SAP entries.
? Provide role coverage during vacations, absences, and training periods.
? Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all food and employee safety policies.

Education, Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum: High school diploma + 3 years of manufacturing experience.
? Previous leadership or lead hand experience is an asset.
? Lift Truck, Propane Handling, Hoist, and Aerial Lift operation training is preferred.
? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong troubleshooting skills.

Additional Considerations:

Must be able to move freely throughout the facility.
? Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
? Comfortable working in heat-exposed environments.
