Job Title: Production Technician I - Operations Technicians (Hiram, OH)

Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and motivated Production Technicians to join Luxium Solutions. As a Production Technician, you will play a crucial role in building high-quality radiation detectors in a controlled environment. Your primary responsibilities will include assembling detectors, preparing crystals, housings, and seals, and ensuring adherence to work instructions and specifications. This position offers a competitive pay rate, opportunities for overtime, and a supportive team environment.

Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Company: Luxium Solutions
- Location: Hiram, OH
- Pay Rate: Starting at $16.25 per hour (higher pay may be considered based on experience)
- Shift: 1st shift, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (flexible +/- 1 hour)
- Experience: High school diploma or GED required

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assemble radiation detectors according to work instructions and specifications
- Prepare crystals, housings, and seals for detector assembly
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 40-45 pounds (heavier lifting may be required in the camera area)
- Adhere to safety protocols and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including steel-toe shoes or boots and safety glasses
- Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes

Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions and specifications
- Physical stamina and ability to work in a low humidity environment (-55C dew point or below)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is preferred but not required
