Kelly is hiring for a premier client with an average employee tenure of 7-10 years, we are seeking a motivated Production Floater to join the team in Minden NV.
This temp-to-hire role offers the opportunity to build a stable, long-term career in an environment where team spirit, reliability, and drama-free collaboration are highly valued.
As a Production Floater, you will support various departments—including Assembly and Deburr—helping with the flow of parts through production, identifying priorities, and building assemblies and sub-assemblies. The role requires floating between departments based on their operational needs.
Pay $20 - $25 DOE
6am - 2:30pm - Mon - Fri
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble parts to form complete units or subassemblies at a bench or workstation
- Build pump flanges, ball valves, isolation couplings, and all support products
- Inspect components to ensure fit/finish and report deviations
- Accurately enter completed parts into the inventory system via tablet/computer
- Assist in TIG welding of valve sub-assemblies
- Maintain company tools and clean, organized work areas
- Follow safety procedures and report issues
- Complete daily production records and necessary forms
- Support the team with other related duties
- Mechanically inclined and willing to learn part names, numbers, and assembly procedures
- Physically able to lift 70 lbs (team lift) and 50 lbs independently; push carts up to 1,500 lbs
- Steel toe shoes required; standard work clothing
- Dedicated to attendance, punctuality, and quality
- Effective communication and attention to detail
- Manufacturing assembly experience preferred but not essential
- Self-motivated, drama-free, reliable, and eager to grow with the company
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
