Title: Project Manager
Location: State College, PA
Duration: 6 months +  


Overview

  • Title: Project Manager – Business Integration
  • Will report to the Site Leader
  • Responsible for ensuring successful completion of all aspects of the project's coordination and implementation. Coordinate a multi-disciplinary team that includes internal and external customers.

Responsibilities
  • Organize project, tasking priorities to achieve objectives
  • Define and manage project scope, schedule, resources, risk, and metrics
  • Partner with Senior leadership to allocate resources to drive projects to on-time completion
  • Identifies and coordinates the efforts of various members of cross-functional teams to meet project deliverables
  • Delegates tasks to the appropriate team members throughout the organization
  • Schedules and leads team meetings and ad hoc meetings, as required, in coordinating project activities and managing project issues
  • Leads project decision making process and brings closure to open issues
  • Manages project communications including meeting minutes, monthly updates, communications meetings, and project tollgates
  • Maintains current program review documentation and provides reports on progress to site and division management

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical disciplines; will consider Business Management or Leadership
  • Minimum of 1 – 2 years of project management experience, with 3 or more preferred
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication capability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and Visio
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project or other equivalent software tool for program tracking
  • PMP Certification preferred

Competencies Required
  • Must possess solid business acumen, strong leadership skills, and analytical proficiency
  • Must possess strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to anticipate and recognize issues, analyze risks, consider options, and make decisions to drive results.
  • Must be able to function in a changing, high-impact position with deadline and resource limitations.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, internal and external customers and suppliers, and outside agencies.

Additional Information
  • Hybrid position: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
  • Local candidates only
  • Contract slated through February 2025
  • This role will not support sponsorship candidates
