Pay rate: $25.00 an hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am to 4:30pm

What's a typical day as a Purchasing Coordinator? You'll be:
- Oversee the daily operations of vendor order receiving, order fulfillment, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Monitor and manage order flow from receipt from vendor through inventory reconciliation and goods ready for shipment.
- Ensure once inventory is confirmed in warehouse or vendor orders are received, that goods are available for customer orders or to handle front and back-end processing for drop shipments.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.
- Implement and oversee inventory control procedures.
- Work with office and warehouse team to ensure orderly and organized inventory.
- Shipping and Logistics: Coordinate shipping schedules and ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of products from vendors.
- Manage relationships with vendors, vendor warehouses and shipping carriers to pick up goods and ship to our warehouse or our clients.
- Resolve any shipping issues, delays, or discrepancies promptly.
- System Integration and Troubleshooting: Maintain and troubleshoot delays with vendor delivery or shipment to ensure seamless order processing. Follow up on purchase orders.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to fulfillment systems and integrations, working to enhance system functionality.
- Work with the Warehouse operations team to ensure items received in good, workmanlike condition and items pass sufficient Quality Checks before being received into Fulfillment.
- Inspect third party goods to ensure the highest quality product is being sent on behalf of our customers.
- Team Management: Supervise receiving and coordinate with fulfillment staff, providing training and development opportunities as needed to ensure smooth purchasing process.
- Monitor department performance and ensure adherence to operational standards.
- Formal education in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in software financial system (such as INFOR) that includes fulfillment, inventory, purchasing, logistics, or other similar software system preferred but not required
