QC Chemist
Dallas/Fort Worth, TX

Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking a QC Chemist for one of our top testing laboratories in the DFW area.  As a QC Chemist, you will be responsible for QC testing within FDA and cGMP regulated environment. 
Job Details:

• Responsible for providing services to other departments (Production, R&D, QA, Engineering)
• Testing of raw materials, bulk products, finished products, and stability samples
• Testing of liquids, tablets and capsules for dietary supplements, medical foods, and pharmaceutical drug products
• Testing of R&D samples
• Validation testing, both expanded process validation testing and method validation testing
• pH meter, HPLC, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, FT-IR spectrophotometer, GC, TOC monitor, viscometer, pycnometer, ovens, sieve analysis tester and particle size analyzer
• Performs maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
• Responsible for the proper handling, inventory control, processing or analysis of narcotics and other controlled substances
• Adhered to company SOPs, 21 CFR part 11 and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance
• Promotes cGMP, safety and product quality in all routine operations
• Document record data and review
• Write and/or update SOPs for new analytical methods or equipment
• Coordinate calibration or maintenance equipment when necessary
• Comply with all safety policies and regulations
• Adhere to all laboratory requirements in accordance with SOPs and regulatory practices such as GMPs, GDPs, GLPs and OSHA regulations

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry is preferred
• 2+ years of experience as QC Chemist in a GMP environment is preferred
• Prefer pharmaceutical, dietary supplements, food or cosmetic industry
•  Day shift; M-F
