Kelly Science & Clinical has an Immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Technician – 3rd Shift (Food Division) for our growing client  near Minneapolis, MN

Sunday – Thursday | 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM
$21.00 – $23.00 per hour, plus a $3.00/hour shift differential, dependent upon level of experience

Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join our client's Food Division on 3rd shift. This critical role ensures the safety, quality, and regulatory compliance of our client's products and processes in alignment with internal standards and external regulatory bodies. We're looking for a detail-oriented, analytical individual who thrives in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Monitor, evaluate, and report analytical results of raw materials and finished products, alerting the team of any out-of-compliance findings
•    Assist in administering the Company's Quality Program to meet customer, company, and regulatory requirements
•    Perform sensory evaluations and analyses such as moisture, water activity, and visual inspections
•    Maintain sample retain library and conduct final wash inspections in production areas
•    Conduct internal audits of cGMP areas and maintain glass/brittle inventories
•    Support environmental monitoring (e.g., swabbing) and titration analysis of sanitation chemicals
•    Assist in customer complaint investigations and support third-party audit preparations (e.g., BRC, Safe Food/Safe Feed, HACCP)
•    Create and maintain accurate production documentation, certificates of analysis, and archival storage
•    Collaborate with R&D and Operations teams as needed to resolve quality-related issues
•    Ensure lab safety and perform tasks in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices

Qualifications:
•    High School Diploma or GED required, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance/control in an FDA-regulated industry
•    Bachelor's Degree in a science-related field preferred
•    Experience in manufacturing and processing environments is highly desired
•    Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
•    Familiarity with food safety standards and regulatory compliance
