Quality Engineer
Pay - $40-$45/hour
Kelly Services is currently seeking a Quality Engineerfor one of our top clients in Jacksonville, FL.
Education:
- A minimum Bachelor s degree required in Science, Engineering, Technology, or Math or another relevant field.
Required Experience
Skills:
- Minimum 2+ years of professional work experience in Quality, R D, New Product Development, or Operations.
- CO-OP experience will be considered.
- Experience reviewing or authoring or approving quality related documents in particular IQ/OQ/PQ documentation, in a Medical Device or Pharma industry is preferred.
- Experience in procedural and quality intensive industries, will be considered.
- Basic knowledge of Process Validation, experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on product release requirements testing.
- Basic understanding of product Test Methods.
- Knowledge of applied statistics with statistical software applications e.g., Minitab and/or ReliaSoft is a plus.
- Knowledge of product/process Risk Management DFMEA/PFMEA or Gage R R Analysis, FDA, and ISO standards.
- Ability to identify and simplify complex documentation issues, as well as demonstrated ability for proactive, organized, and systemic approach to making decisions and resolving issues.
- Ability to work in a team and demonstrate good interpersonal, organization, and oral/written communication skills.
Preferred Experience Skills:
- Experience in medical device or other highly regulated industry.
- Familiarity with medical device regulations FDA, EU-MDR, etc. is a plus.
- Quality Engineering Certification, Software Quality Engineering Certification e.g., ASQ CQE, ASQ CSQE is a plus.
- Certification e.g., Black belt in one or more of the Process Excellence roadmaps e.g., DMADVV, DMAIC, or Lean is a plus.
- Ability to work independently or autonomously with minimal guidance and a fast learner is required.
- Other: The role will be based in Jacksonville, FL. No travel is required.
