Description

We are seeking a Customer Quality Engineer for an exciting role with a leading electrical services company. This role will play a crucial role in addressing and resolving quality issues reported by customers. As the primary point of contact, you will collaborate with operations, sales, engineering, sourcing, and quality assurance departments to ensure swift solutions and preventive measures are communicated back to customers, fostering strong, accountable relationships. Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Serve as the initial touchpoint for customer-reported quality concerns, ensuring prompt and effective communication.
  • Issue Management: Organize, triage, and track quality issues to guarantee rapid responses and resolution.
  • Action Planning: Assess and decide on the necessary actions to address customer quality issues promptly.
  • Field Service Coordination: Arrange field services deployment to customer sites when required.
  • Collaborative Problem-solving: Work alongside various departments to identify root causes of quality issues and implement robust prevention strategies.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong partnerships with customers by being responsive and accountable to their concerns.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Disseminate information and lessons learned from quality issues and their resolutions throughout the organization for collective improvement.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering or at least 5 years' experience working with electrical distribution equipment

· Significant experience with Electrical equipment design, operation and troubleshooting - Previous Field Service/repair/troubleshooting work preferred

· Excellent Communication skills – both written and verbal – with a focus on understanding how to convey the right message to the right audience

· Organized and able to operate well in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple issues concurrently

· Excellent relationship-builder with a reputation for accountability

· Occasional travel and off-hours work required
