Title: Quality Engineer (Part-Time)
Location: Waukesha, WI
Duration: 6 months +          


Overview

  • Title: Quality Engineer/ Equipment Qualifications
  • Performs reviews of CT detector equipment qualification plans, procedures, results, and reports.
  • Ensures fulfillment of internal and external requirements.
  • Ensures that projects and products are capable and will meet specified standards.

Responsibilities
  • The role operates with some autonomy but is focused on execution of equipment qualification reviews (plan, procedure, results, report) covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Activities require professional judgment but may require more senior levels of guidance.
  • Communication with direct colleagues and the business about coordination of equipment qualification reviews
  • Utilizes technical expertise and judgement to solve problems. Leverages technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
  • Notifies PPC Quality Manager or Waukesha South Site Quality Director of quality or other issues.
  • May need to complete other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Will consider a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of related experience
  • Being flexible to changing needs of the business and department and will work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions along with strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Established project management skills.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Sitting for extended periods of time at a computer
  • May require entrance to the CT detector manufacturing area with required PPE

Additional Information
  • Part-time hybrid position / Onsite required Tuesday – Thursday
  • Local candidates only
  • Slated through the end of 2024
  • Estimated total hours will vary each month, approximate:
    • June = 16 hours / July = 55 hours / August = 75 hours / September = 16 hours / October = 55 hours / November = 75 hours
