Kelly Science has an Immediate Opening for a Quality Returns Specialist – 1st Shift for our growing client near Cleveland, OH
Streetsboro, OH | $23/hr | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Estimated Duration: 8 weeks (with potential for extension)
We're looking for a detail-driven, organized, and proactive Quality Returns Specialist to support our QA operations in Streetsboro, OH. This is a critical role ensuring returned products meet our high standards while maintaining compliance and documentation for audits. Your Recipe for Success (Key Responsibilities):-
Inspect and determine the acceptability of all returned materials

Manage inventory transactions and release quarantined materials as needed

Maintain returns and quality records for audits

Collaborate with Sales and Distribution teams on RA numbers and return-related shipments

Serve as the designated QA Inspector for the facility

Conduct facility walk-through inspections and coordinate corrective actions

Inspect and sign off on shipping, sanitation, and receiving records

Pull, download, and analyze temperature data from monitoring systems

Maintain logs for product destruction, returns, and pest control
-
Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and act as a site Quality Representative

Assist with outlet store shipments and special projects

Additional responsibilities as assigned

5+ years of experience in quality assurance or manufacturing required

Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently

Comfortable multitasking and maintaining structure in a fast-paced setting

Computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office

Strong communication skills—both written and verbal

Ability to ascend in a forklift cage (to retrieve data collectors)

Must be able to read and write in English

Associate degree preferred but not required
-
Must meet GMP compliance and documentation standards (training provided)

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Comfortable working in an environment with potential exposure to allergens (nuts, dairy, gluten, etc.)

Must be able to bend, twist, and stand for up to 8 hours
