Location: Columbus, GA (Onsite Only)
Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $50,000–$55,000/year
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Preferred Shift: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Flexible start time between 8:00–10:00 AM)

We are seeking a Quality Specialist I for a growing healthcare logistics and medical supply company based in Columbus, GA. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career in a company committed to innovation, quality, and operational excellence in the life sciences and healthcare space.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Ensure adherence to site SOPs and regulatory requirements

  • Lead or support investigations related to Non-Conformances and Customer Complaints

  • Assist with Validation Execution and CAPA Management

  • Maintain and update Quality Metrics and KPIs

  • Review Design History Records (DHRs) for compliance

  • Support audit readiness and documentation practices in accordance with FDA (21 CFR 820) and ISO 13485 / ISO 9001

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and quality team members

  • Provide backup support for other QA staff as needed

Your Background Should Include:
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or equivalent work experience

  • 2+ years of experience in a regulated industry (Medical Device, Biotech, or Pharma)

  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)

  • Understanding of Non-Conformance, CAPA, and Complaint Handling processes

  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; QMS or LIMS experience a plus
