Quality System Consultant
Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Quality System Consultant for a temp-to-hire position at a premier biotech company in Redwood City, CA. $75/hour
Overview:
This company is transforming enzyme engineering to advance pharmaceuticals manufacturing and nucleic acid synthesis, utilizing proprietary platforms for innovative health solutions.
In this role, you'll be responsible for managing quality operations, acting as a system admin for MasterControl's eQMS and LMS, handling document control and training administration, ensuring compliance, and leading continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with internal and external teams to meet high-quality standards.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, standard working hours
Responsibilities:
- Administering MasterControl for eQMS and LMS, including handling document control and training program assignments.
- Reviewing and managing diverse quality systems records, such as deviations, CAPAs, and change controls.
- Conducting audits and overseeing supplier qualifications to ensure high-quality standards.
- Collaborating with various teams to ensure products meet specifications and requirements.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives for quality systems and preparing related metrics and reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Science or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance supporting manufacturing and quality control in a pharmaceutical or biotech environment.
- Experience with MasterControl as a system admin.
- Previous experience in oversight and approval of quality systems documentation.
- Experience with GMP, ICH Guidelines, ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485.
- Experience training.
