R&D Pilot Plant Technician Second Shift
Kelly Outsourcing Consulting Group Kelly OCG , a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a R&D Pilot Plant Technician for a long-term engagement at one of our Global medical device clients in Jacksonville, Florida. This role is a full-time, fully benefited position. As a Kelly OCG employee, you will be eligible for Medical, Dental, 401K and paid time off, including holiday, vacation and sick/personal time.

Monday through Thursday  3:30pm – 2AM
Pay $19.00 an hour

Responsibilities:
Performs a specialized set of tasks as part of a team to include, but not limited to: visual inspection, operation of the lens blister packaging machine, lens loading, packaging audit process, operate two autoclaves for sterilization according to protocols and GMP/ GLP, operate two Package Integrity Testing devices.

  • Assist Process Engineering Technicians, Protocol Originators and Project Team members in executing investigational and clinical protocols, and the gathering of data for experiments in making non-clinical and clinical lenses.
  • Maintain accurate documentation to ensure adherence to GMP, FDA and ISO regulations.
  • Assist technical services in executing routine tasks as requested.
  • Responsible for of the following tasks: Visual Inspection / BSM Packaging machine / Sterilization of contact lenses.
  • Maintains lot integrity and control to ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, ISO and company requirements.
  • Solution Preparation and Solution testing.
  • Operates and monitors sterilization units, completing appropriate documentation and responding to equipment alarms.
  • Conducts routine safety and environmental audits as required.
  • Conducts basic Preventive Maintenance PM tasks as scheduled for packaging machine and sterilizers.

QUALIFICATIONS: High School Degree or equivalent. Preferred Associate Degree.
  • Minimum experience: 2+ years working experience in a regulated environment preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational and application of principles, concepts and practices of protocol execution
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office suite
  • Physical Conditions Physical Demands of Job: Standing ,Stooping, Crouching,  some lifting 25 lbs,
