Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology, and Telecom, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, is currently seeking a R&D Project Manager for a long-term engagement at one of our Global Medical Device Robotics & Digital Solutions clients in Santa Clara, CA. A global leader in surgery with products and solutions found in almost every operating room around the world.
This role is a contract with enhanced benefits. As a Kelly employee in this group, you will be eligible for Medical & Dental, 50% paid by Kelly, 401K, 15 PTO days, and paid holidays.
In this role, they enable the Geographic expansion of a specific project by properly planning for testing needed for each geography and ensuring the execution report release to support business milestones.
Strategic expansion and full launch program manager, delivering program status, schedule, and risk updates; driving successful compliance efforts to support program milestones
Professional Experience/Skills/Background to be successful in this role:
As the R&D Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
• Establishing config mgmt. practices, policies, tools, and reports
• Provide program visibility into current configurations, desired configurations
• Change management process and sustaining (CRB process, impact assessment)
• Data system improvements to facilitate configuration management
• Process improvement efforts to improve the program's configuration management practices, policies, and tools
• Establish System owners' team, roles and responsibilities, training, and empowerment
• Scheduling activities across all project systems to facilitate necessary program activities (V&V, customer demonstrations, feature development, etc.)
• Planning and execution of upgrades on this project's systems to unblock program activities
• Process improvement efforts to improve the program's system and tool management practices, policies, and tool
