Description

Join a dynamic team as a Regulatory Affairs Scientist, where you'll play an essential role in ensuring compliance and excellence in product development. This part-time remote position offers you the flexibility to contribute your expertise from the comfort of your home. Your work will directly impact the quality and regulatory adherence of our products, helping us maintain our reputation for excellence and innovation.

  • Job Type: Part-time, 8am-1pm ET M-F
  • Location: Remote (Work from Home) must be located in Eastern Time Zone or Central Time Zone.
  • Pay Rate: $53/hr
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Review supplier ingredient information and product formulas with precision.
  • Develop comprehensive label copy including ingredient declarations, allergen statements, nutrition profiles, and applicable claims.
  • Ensure artwork compliance with all regulatory requirements thoroughly.
  • Develop and maintain required documentation and records according to established policies and practices.
  • Provide regulatory guidance to cross-functional partners supporting growth, productivity, quality, and regulatory-driven initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Food Science, or equivalent (required); Master's degree preferred.
  • 12+ years experience in a food, pharmaceutical, or consumer products company.
  • 10+ years experience in Regulatory Affairs.
  • Working knowledge of local Food and Drug regulations.
  • High degree of initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Solid computer skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to learn client-specific systems, including product lifecycle management and artwork review systems.
