A global leader in engineered solutions for the paper manufacturing industry is hiring an Industrial Roll Grinder Operator for its Austell, GA facility. This location specializes in servicing, repairing, and maintaining the massive precision rollers used in high-speed paper production.

Responsibilities
-
Set up, operate, and maintain large roll grinders for rubber, polyurethane, resin, and steel-covered paper machine rolls
-
Perform precise grinding setups for large industrial equipment
-
Safely lift and move heavy loads using an 80-ton overhead crane
-
Inspect work for quality according to company standards

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Work overtime or shift changes when required

Learn and assist with additional shop tasks as needed
Requirements
-
Experience with large roll grinders (paper mill rolls or similar) preferred
-
Ability to operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and industrial tools

Familiarity with industrial grinding practices and heavy equipment setups

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

High school diploma preferred; equivalent experience considered

Strong safety awareness, reliability, and adaptability
