Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain large roll grinders for rubber, polyurethane, resin, and steel-covered paper machine rolls

• Perform precise grinding setups for large industrial equipment

• Safely lift and move heavy loads using an 80-ton overhead crane

• Inspect work for quality according to company standards

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

• Work overtime or shift changes when required

• Learn and assist with additional shop tasks as needed

Requirements

• Experience with large roll grinders (paper mill rolls or similar) preferred

• Ability to operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and industrial tools

• Familiarity with industrial grinding practices and heavy equipment setups

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

• High school diploma preferred; equivalent experience considered

• Strong safety awareness, reliability, and adaptability

Schedule & Pay

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM

• Pay: $26–$27/hour (based on experience)
