Sales Applications Engineer
Moonachie, NJ
Salary: $75,000 to $100,000 DOE

Sales Applications Engineer will have experience applying and selling engineered equipment to various processing and manufacturing facilities, including water treatment, chemical and food processing clients. Demonstrating a strong work ethic, professionalism and dedication to ensuring the highest quality of selection and application of equipment

Responsibilities:
•    Provide assistance to assigned Field Sales Representatives, domestic and international, with respect to sales-related purposes, including equipment model selection, offerings, product testing, and furthering their knowledge and understanding of product offerings
•    Work with Field Sales Representatives for initial assessment for project viability, and assisting with the project offerings
•    Process special equipment requests, utilizing proper formatting with detailed requirements from Sales Representatives to determine, with engineering assistance, if the project is financially viable
•    Assist Engineering and Sales with cost information for ancillary items for equipment modifications and time requirements
•    Review and proof equipment offer for accuracy including models, lead time and other applications/product parameters, including control considerations
•    Determine sales process with prospective customers, working with Field Sales Representative, Sales Manager, and customer for development and coordination
•    Assist with training Field Sales Representatives, including factory and field training, as required
•    Review performance of Field Sales Representative as requested, with the Sales Manager and complete required documentation
•    Assist with recruitment of new Field Sales Representatives as required
•    Attend Trade Shows and assist potential customers 
•    Document requirements for sales, contracts, and equipment requirements, and other important information as directed
•    Occasional travel required
•    Prepare and review commission breakdown upon completion of sales

Education and Experience
•    Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
•    3-10 years of experience with processing or manufacturing equipment in the manufacturing or chemical industry
