We're seeking a Electro-Mechanical Assembler to work at a premier manufacturer of equipment and tools in Elyria, Ohio. Sound good? Take a closer look below. Pay Rate: $19.00 
Work Hours: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday

What's a typical day as a Electro-Mechanical Assembler? You'll be:

  • Assemble electrical or mechanical components in the production of welding units, accessories and related equipment. 

  • Operate hand tools and power tools to assemble welding units, accessories and related equipment. 

  • Read and follow instructions on how to assemble welding units, accessories, related equipment components, and final assemblies. 

  • Follow verbal instructions and production procedures. 

  • Operate material handling equipment such as industrial lift trucks, overhead cranes, dollies, handcarts, etc. 

  • Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. 

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized workspace.  Follow all health and safety regulations.  

  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Demonstrate close attention to detail to achieve accuracy in tasks
• Are physically agile and able to stand/walk for an 8-hour shift and lift/maneuver 50 lbs.
• Have the ability to work cohesively with a diverse range of people
• Have a flexible attitude towards job duties and can perform a variety of tasks upon request

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent. 

  • Prior assembly experience preferred. 

  • Prior experience with hand tools and power tools preferred. 

  • Able to read blueprints. 

  • Forklift experience preferred.
