Job Title: Scheduler
Job Summary: The Scheduler plays a key role in managing inventory and facilitating logistics across the supply chain. This position is responsible for conducting inventory counts, ordering and distributing materials, shipping and delivering finished goods, and ensuring timely and accurate documentation. The Scheduler works closely with production, shipping, receiving, and warehouse teams to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct inventory counts and analysis of materials and finished goods.
- Order, receive, store, and issue materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Enter inventory records into computer systems or Excel spreadsheets.
- Assist in receiving, filling, and submitting requisitions for materials for management approval.
- Dispatch raw materials and supplies to manufacturing areas; follow up on their delivery.
- Document, segregate, and report reject materials or discrepancies.
- Receive finished goods from the factory and distribute them to sales warehouses, wholesale/retail outlets, or customers.
- Generate and maintain accurate paperwork and records for all transactions.
- Conduct cycle counts and maintain up-to-date inventory data.
- Communicate regularly with production, shipping, receiving, and warehouse teams.
- Verify quality, quantity, and expiration dates of inventory received and shipped.
- Rotate stock and ensure proper storage conditions.
- Assist in preparing daily issue reports, stock status reports, and activity reports.
- Report any issues, discrepancies, or quality concerns to management.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 0-2 years of related work experience, preferably in inventory, logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
- One years of experience in a manufacturing-related environment preferred.
- Experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of FDA/GMP regulatory or quality assurance experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer systems.
- Effective communicator with ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
- Reliability and commitment to process accuracy.
- Basic understanding of inventory and logistics operations is a plus.
