Kelly Government Solutions is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Account Manager/Program Manager to lead scientific staffing support and operations for an innovative client engaged in impactful work at the intersection of biomedical/scientific and government sectors. This position is pivotal to support the client's rapid growth by ensuring seamless scientific staffing solutions, quality performance, and strategic client engagement. ***Role contingent upon contract award***
LOGISTICS
Location: Candidates must reside in the Greater Richmond (VA) Area and be available to work on-site 2-3 days/week.
Transportation: Must have own reliable transportation because role will involve local travel to facilities within the Greater Richmond area.
Salary: $80K - $90K
KEY TASKS
(1) Act as primary liaison with client leadership to deeply understand operations, staffing requirements, and strategic business objectives.
(2) Identify, develop, and propose new staffing opportunities to support client growth and operational needs.
(3) Oversee contract personnel, ensuring high-quality performance, compliance, and client satisfaction.
(4) Review and screen resumes for technical and cultural fit; conduct candidate prescreens and coordinate client interviews.
(5) Facilitate employee onboarding, orientation, and continuous engagement to maintain a motivated and high-performing workforce.
(6) Coach and mentor employees to ensure professional growth and consistent quality outcomes.
(7) Proactively manage client relationships, anticipating needs, resolving issues, and ensuring overall program success and expansion.
(8) Work collaboratively within a matrix environment, closely aligning with recruitment, operations, and business development teams.
REQUIREMENTS
(1) Minimum of bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (biology, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or related field).
(2) Proven experience in scientific sales, staffing, recruiting, or account/client management. Experience with federal government contracting processes and requirements preferred.
(3) Demonstrated ability to build and nurture strong client relationships, driving growth and client satisfaction.
(4) Excellent organizational skills with experience managing staffing operations, reviewing technical resumes, and coaching teams.
(5) Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively liaising with client stakeholders and internal teams.
(6) Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a keen eye for identifying business opportunities and driving continuous improvement.
