*20-30% travel (US and Canada)
Kelly is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to work with our client, a manufacturer of urethane products, on a direct hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful local manufacturing company that is backed by a global parent business. The position will report directly to and work closely with the President, serving as a liaison between the President and the sales team.
The Senior Sales Manager will:
- Build long-term, positive relationships with customers, through calls and visits, to market company products
- Train sales team and distributors/customers on the technical aspects of the Company's product line
- Manage the sales and customer service teams and becoming part of their success in using marketing, technical assistance, sales strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Build strong relationships with distributors and end users
- Analyze data from various channels to make business decisions to further grow the sales of the department
- Work with engineering and manufacturing in product development and troubleshooting
- Make business decisions with risk/reward management based upon targeted ROI goals
- Learn and maintain technical knowledge of Company products and competitors' products
- Communicate effectively to a variety of people within our organization and across the globe
- Attend and participate in regional and national tradeshows and conferences
- Develop an annual sales and marketing plan identifying major sales opportunities, targets, sales budget and goals, and key objectives
- Four-year college degree; with a Master's in Business preferred
- Minimum of 10 years' industrial sales experience; preferably in the grain, concrete, aggregate, or mining industries
- Minimum of 4 years' management experience
- Highly motivated self-starter who is a positive and contributing team leader
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills, including the ability to manage conflict resolution in a professional manner
- Excellent time management and problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Blueprint reading experience
