Senior Scientist – Rochester MI
Kelly Science & Clinical has a new, permanent opportunity for a Senior Scientist in Rochester, MI!

Primary Responsibilities and Experience

• Analytical method development, validation, transfer
• Writes and executes method validation protocols, reports
• Lead role on projects, supporting knowledge and technology transfer as part of a global team
• Strong analytical skills
• Troubleshooting methods and equipment
• Leading complex laboratory investigations
• Experience supporting regulatory submissions and drug product launches
• Strong organization skills
• Oversees project status, manages timelines and deliverables

• Day shift (early morning ~ 7 am meetings are common, since this role will interface with India team members)
• Extensive knowledge of variety of laboratory equipment in a cGMP environment
• HPLC is a must, GC highly desired
• Knowledge of Empower software
  Highly Desired (but not required)
  • Particulate examination and identification
  • Isolating particulates from drug product or other materials such as APIs and excipients
  • Microscopy skills (SEM, FTIR-microscope)
  • FTIR
• HPLC-MS, GC proficiency as well as understanding of GMPs
• Agilent instrumentation and Waters Empower software
  Education/Background/Qualifications:
  • BS + 8 years relevant experience
  • MS + 6 years relevant experience
  • PhD + 2 years relevant experience
  • Ability to juggle simultaneous projects
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative
