Job Posting: Senior Tax Accountant (CPA Required) — Up to $110K Salary!

Role Overview:
We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Tax Accountant to manage complex tax assignments for high-net-worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local business tax returns (Forms 1120, 1120-S, 1065; 990 experience a plus).
  • Prepare and review individual and trust tax returns.
  • Assist the Tax Manager with complex assignments as needed.
  • Communicate directly with clients to gather information and provide expert guidance.
  • Advise on financial sales strategies and investment planning.
  • Stay up-to-date on changing tax legislation affecting our clients and operations.
  • Maintain exceptional organization and effective communication with clients and staff via verbal, written, and visual methods.

Required Qualifications:

  • CPA or EA license (CPA strongly preferred)
  • Minimum 5+ years of public accounting experience (small- to medium-size firms ideal)
  • Extensive knowledge of tax laws, compliance, and regulatory reporting
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks; knowledge of Lacerte and Microsoft Office (a plus)
  • Strong analytical skill and ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and outstanding customer service
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience with non-profit accounting practices is desirable

Compensation:
Up to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience
