Description

Our client is seeking Mechanical Designer and a Product Development Engineer for their Automated Material Handling Solution products in Orlando, Florida. Those with 3-5 years current experience with Inventor is highly desired for their growing business. Sheet Metal Designing is Required!

Contract to perm

$30-$40/HR

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS´

  • 1-4 years of engineering experience, preferably in the materials handling industry

Such as injected molded storage products or other plastic and sheet metal products

  • Ability to be self-motivated, work unsupervised and manage time effectively.
  • Advanced communication skills both written and oral.
  • Can solve practical problems, understand material flow and measurements.
  • Advanced computer proficiency skills including the Microsoft Office product suite, AutoCAD, 3D

modeling, and FEA analysis

  • Ability to understanding, interpret and discuss detailed engineering drawings.
  • Ability to assess application needs and provide solutions with standard products.
  • Calculate system rates and design systems to meet requirements.
  • Intermediate mathematical skills and the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as

discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
