Shipper / Receiver
Pay Rate: $24/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations by accurately receiving, storing, and shipping materials and finished goods. This role ensures inventory accuracy, safe material handling, and timely shipments in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and production schedules.
Key Responsibilities-
Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming materials, supplies, and freight against purchase orders, invoices, bills of lading, and other shipping documents.

Identify, document, and report discrepancies, damages, or defective items, maintaining accurate records of quantities, dates, and sources.

Ensure materials are properly labeled, scanned, and transferred to designated inventory locations.

Pick, verify, pack, label, wrap, and load outbound shipments according to specifications and transportation requirements.

Update inventory and purchase order systems for received, shipped, canceled, or back-ordered materials.

Maintain secure, organized, and accurate inventory to support production and shipping schedules.

Support cycle counts, row audits, and variance investigations to maintain inventory accuracy.

Perform basic preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment per established procedures.

Evaluate shipping and receiving processes, recommend improvements, and communicate inventory issues to management as needed.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, or inventory control.

Working knowledge of inventory systems, shipping documentation, and material handling processes.

Ability to follow established procedures while recognizing when deviations are necessary.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Performs semi-standardized, routine tasks within established guidelines.

Applies developed skills to adapt procedures, techniques, or equipment to meet job requirements.

Exercises judgment within defined processes and escalates issues as needed.

Steel-toe shoes are required.

Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials in a warehouse environment.
