What's a typical day as a Shipping Admin Clerk? You'll be:
  • Greet and check in incoming truck drivers.
  • Collect, verify, and organize load paperwork accurately.
  • Maintain professional communication with carriers and drivers.
  • Perform data entry and maintain digital and physical filing systems.
  • Answer multi-line phone system professionally and direct calls as needed.
  • Alphabetize and file documents as part of daily clerical upkeep.
  • Use Microsoft Excel to input, track, and manage shipment-related data.
  • Ensure timely and accurate entry of information for shipping documentation.
  • Communicate with internal staff regarding shipping schedules and issues.
  • Maintain a neat and organized office environment.
  • Adhere to all safety and PPE requirements while on-site.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Proficient in computer use, especially Microsoft Excel and basic data systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Prior experience in a clerical or logistics/shipping support role is preferred.
  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume setting and maintain attention to detail.
  • Must wear steel-toe shoes; other PPE provided on-site.
  • Neat, casual attire (long pants and shoulder-covered shirts required).
  • Must pass an in-person interview and submit a resume.
  • Must be local to the area (remote candidates not considered).
