Now Hiring: Shipping & Receiving Clerk – A or B Shift
Location: Lima, NY
Pay: $16.50 – $18.25/hour (based on experience & Shift)
Schedule Options:
- A Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- B Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Join a stable manufacturing team in Lima as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with consistent hours and growth potential. You'll be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate inventory, and supporting logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Package finished products neatly and accurately
- Wrap, label, and band pallets for outbound shipping
- Load and unload trucks and delivery vehicles
- Inspect incoming goods for damage and accuracy
- Read and interpret packing slips and shipping documents
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (training available if not certified)
- Enter shipping data using tools like UPS WorldShip, FedEx, and Excel
- Keep inventory areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety rules
- Assist with production tasks during slower shipping periods
- Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (or actively working toward it)
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand or walk for long periods
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Forklift experience a plus (or willingness to become certified)
