Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Worker
Location: Rochester Hills, MI
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Type: Temp-to-Hire

Overview:
Kelly Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Worker to support daily shipping and receiving operations in Rochester Hills, MI. This is a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity offering consistent hours, a supportive team environment, and room for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Count and verify assemblies scheduled to ship
  • Safely move materials using a Hi-Lo (forklift) – must be trained or experienced
  • Prepare packaging materials used by production for finished goods
  • Accurately record materials used in the shipping process
  • Ensure all products and RMAs are packaged per shipping instructions using correct materials to prevent damage and ensure on-time delivery
  • Pull, count, verify, and properly label all finished assemblies before submitting paperwork to Order Entry
  • Verify and approve shipping label details including quantities and assembly numbers
  • Receive and sign for incoming deliveries
  • Assist Shipping Supervisor with investigating and resolving shipping discrepancies
  • Support loading of outgoing shipments

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in shipping and receiving preferred
  • Experience operating a Hi-Lo (forklift) is strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Basic record-keeping and communication skills
  • Dependable and team-oriented
