Job Title: Staff Accountant - Credit Administrator

Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our client team as a Credit Administrator. This temporary role involves maintaining accurate financial information and IT systems, providing analytical support, and ensuring financial information complies with corporate policies and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support Finance Manager and Area Financial Services in analyzing customer credit accounts.
  2. Maintain monthly reconciliations of customer accounts, addressing skipped invoices, discrepancies, and claims.
  3. Prepare and present accurate departmental reports and customer adjustments for evaluation.
  4. Collaborate with internal departments to manage delinquent accounts and enhance customer relationships.
  5. Apply company credit and collection policies to maintain assigned portfolios within credit lines and dollar limits.
  6. Document and resolve unjustified customer deductions and coordinate service strategies.
  7. Follow up on accounts receivable collections and refer challenging cases to the finance manager.
  8. Support AFS in addressing unauthorized deductions and assist in price discrepancy evaluations.
  9. Collect and analyze rebate data for BPO/AFS and reconcile chargebacks to maintain customer account accuracy.
  10. Assist Finance Manager in audits, financial close processes, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 0-2 years of experience in accounting/finance, credit, and collections.
  • Familiarity with the general accounting cycle and financial principles.
  • Preferred: Prior experience with SAP.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software and database applications; intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and demonstrate self-motivation and strong follow-up skills.
