Location:  Savannah, GA- 31408
Pay Rate: $32.19/hr
Shifts Available: 1st shift (4:30am - 3:0pm)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently perform a variety of structural assembly operations using required tools, prints, specs, and operational requirements
  • Assemble and fit detail parts and structures; conduct drilling and riveting operations
  • Use advanced schematics, blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical instructions for layout, fabrication, and installation of parts and equipment on aircraft
  • Coordinate with supervision and inspection to ensure compliance with internal and FAA paperwork, sign-offs, and quality specifications
  • Adapt quickly to new tasks with minimal disruption to established schedules
  • Mentor, train, and assist other team members, and develop shop aids to resolve production installation difficulties
  • Maintain and use accurate logs and records (e.g., MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs)
  • Complete repairs and necessary rework per DMTs, MRRs, PCOs to ensure installations meet conformity
  • Plan and organize workloads and resources; assist in overseeing projects and procuring required materials and documentation
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area; support the company's 5S and Lean Initiative Program, and comply with all safety regulations

Must-Haves:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 6 years of related structural assembly experience
  • Experience with Solumina and Smarteam preferred, Q-stamp preferred
  • Good working knowledge of computers and related software
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Skilled in close tolerance work, proficient with special tools and equipment
  • Ability to solve dimensional problems using mathematical formulas (fractions, decimals, whole numbers)
  • Expertise in using multiple measuring devices within specified tolerances
  • Able to work any shift
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Able to climb ladders, stands, stairs and work in small/restricted spaces
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
