Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking a Supply Planning Coordinator to work at a premier automotive component manufacturer in Columbus, IN. Sound like something you're interested in? • Pay Rate: $36.00 to $37.00/HR depending on experience

What's a typical day as a Supply Planning Coordinator? You'll be:
• Determining the quantity and order date for materials needed to meet the master production schedule or independent customer demand
• Expediting purchase or production orders as appropriate
• Performing quality checks on material planning master data and working with Quality to disposition non-conforming material
• Initiating purchase and work orders to support the demand plan
• Collaborating with suppliers to reduce lead time and order quantities
• Reconciling order boards for critical suppliers and past due orders
• Supporting the Deliver Supplier Improvement Process initiative to improve performance metrics
• Communicating effectively within the assigned team and with all support teams
• Participating in improvement projects related to quality, safety, process, and material flow

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have customer service and collaboration skills
• Possess strong analytical abilities
• Have proficiency in MS Office, with experience in Ariba and Maximo being a plus
• Are skilled in time management
• Have 2-5 years of Supply Chain experience
• Are a high school graduate (2 years or more of college would be great)
