Salary: $60k

Shift:
Mon-Fri daytime hours (approx. 8am – 5pm)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- General warehouse duties, managing warehouse, shipping/receiving activities, and shipping/receiving personnel Training personnel and organizing daily schedule
- All materials documented and processed daily
- Unloading/loading trailers to a designated staging area
- Maintain inbound/outbound log, receiving reports and change of location log
- Maintain log sheet for over/short or damage material
- Maintain maintenance records of company equipment
- Order warehouse supplies when needed as to not hinder productivity
- Ensures that all orders are filled in a timely and accurate manner
- Review all freight bills before processing
- Ensure that all paperwork in turned into front office
- Communicate with vendor and QA department on all over/shortage or damaged product
- File claim with trucking companies (or other shippers) for damage caused by them andcommunicate this with the QA department if needed
- Ensure warehouse policies and procedures are enforced
- Verification of all material received against a packing slip, RGA number, or purchase order. Tag and segregate all material received until a disposition is placed on it in accordance with documented Receiving Inspection and Inspection & Test procedures. Process the lot in accordance with documented Receiving procedures
- Process stock-in and stock-out requests in accordance with documented Stock procedures
- Determine the packaging requirements of the customer and prepare the product accordingly.
- Verify that all packaging specifications have been met including, but not limited to, Certificate of Conformance, First Article Inspection, Export Papers, or any other requirement, stipulation, or condition of the contract review or governing legislations
- Verify that all counts are correct and in accordance with all customer specifications
- Fill out a Bill of Lading or Purchase Order to accompany the load and/or indication of processing specifications for secondary processing
- Safely and conscientiously operate all Shipping/Receiving equipment including, but not limited to, forklifts, transportation vehicles, mechanical scales, computer, label printer, and all other tools or devices needed to complete the responsibilities and duties assigned to the Shipping/Receiving Department
- Maintain all fluids in forklifts, check weekly
- Immediately report damage inflicted by any vehicle, tool, or action to the Operations Manager of Operations
- Drive materials to the customer's or subcontractor's facility and load it into bins, shelves, or at the discretion of the customer
- Maintain and support all documented Shipping/Receiving policies and procedures
- Provide constructive feedback to the Management Rep. on existing warehouse procedures to improve upon them
- Notify the Operations Manager when supplies are needed to complete designated duties and responsibilities with enough notice as to not hinder productivity
- Working with materials or in situations where there is contact with oil, solvent, grease, dirt, dust, and non-toxic odors
- Work in an environment which may not be environmentally controlled
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be a High School Graduate (or equivalent)
- Have at least 2 years Shipping/Receiving and Warehouse Management experience
- Have a valid driver's license with the required class and endorsements
- Understand basic mathematics and be able to verify weights per carton, total weight, and number of pieces. Must know how to operate a calculator
- Take direction well without challenging authority
- Be capable of understanding documented policies and procedures when explained personnel must be able to recognize tags, forms, colors, and other media to identify inspection statuses or lot identifications in conformance with documented procedures
- Possess excellent communication skills, written and oral
