Pay: $33.56/hr
Hours: 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday
This position is ONSITE in Torrance, CA must be able to commute to Torrance, CA
After training period, will turn to a hybrid schedule where you can work from home 2 days a week

What does an Automotive Technician do?
The Automotive Technician (Technical Writer) is a professional who is responsible for writing and editing Honda and Acura automobile parts & service related publications, including service/parts information bulletins, accessory installation instructions, etc. This includes creating content for various requestors throughout the corporation; therefore, they must be able to work with diverse input in order to create high-quality content that best serves the audience.


Daily Tasks:

• Produce various Honda and Acura automobile parts & service related publications (including service/parts information bulletins, accessory installation instructions, etc) based on input from requestors throughout the corporation
• Produce all service information with zero errors (100% quality)
•  Managing creation and review/approval processes to complete assignments by assigned date
• Will be working with recall issues with vehicles. Work with engineering team and explain what models are affected, what the issue is, and the repair procedure needed

Top 3 Required Skills:

     1. Excellent technical writing and editing, including grammar, punctuation, and style
     2. A meticulous approach to their work and an eye for detail
     3. Excellent schedule coordination and communication

Additional Skills:

• 3 years experience Automotive technical knowledge, auto repair experience
• Asks questions and interacts well with others, including technical writers and SMEs
• Maintaining high-quality work under pressure of deadlines
• Coordinating multiple projects at one time
• Cross department support as needed
• Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
