Job Title: Test Proctor – One Day Assignment
Pay: $126 flat rate for test day
Training Pay: $20/hour (billed with a 1.75 markup)

Location: Boston, MA
Date: Test Day is Saturday, July 12 2025 (PARKING PAID FOR YOU)
Training: 1–2 hour paid training session (scheduled between Wednesday and Friday before test day)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and professional Test Proctor to support the administration of the ACT exam. This is a one-day assignment with a brief paid training session beforehand. The proctor will assist the Room Supervisor and may work in the standard or extended time rooms. One designated "roving" proctor will also support the Test Coordinator by providing breaks to other staff as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with room setup and preparation before students arrive

  • Support the Room Supervisor during the exam

  • Monitor students in a quiet, professional manner

  • Ensure testing protocols and procedures are followed

  • Provide break coverage to other proctors and supervisors

  • Help maintain a smooth and secure testing environment

  • Work professionally around high school students

Schedule:
  • Training: 1–2 hours between Wednesday–Friday before test day

  • Test Day: Early morning start; duties completed by:

  • 2:00 PM for standard rooms

  • 3:00 PM for extended time rooms

Additional Information:
  • Expect to monitor 31–60 students per room

  • Typically 1 proctor per room

  • Must bring funds for parking – reimbursed with receipt

Requirements:
  • Professional demeanor and appearance

  • Punctuality and reliability

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions

  • Experience working with high school students is a plus
