- Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including owners, structural engineers, and contractors.
- Performing structural inspections during construction to ensure compliance with approved plans, building codes, and safety standards.
- Maintaining detailed records of inspection activities, findings, and corrective actions.
- Reviewing inspection and testing reports for compliance verification.
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders, including owners, engineers, local jurisdictions, and contractors.
- Addressing deficiencies and ensuring corrective actions are taken.
- Reviewing construction plans and documents to verify compliance.
- Hold a current and active Florida PE license in good standing.
- Have relevant experience: For structural engineering focused PEs, three years of verifiable experience performing structural field inspections on threshold buildings and two years in structural design. For PEs focused on structural field inspections, five years of experience.
- Possess additional certifications as needed, such as ACI, ICC, or PTI certifications.
- Have excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Are committed to ensuring safety and structural integrity in construction projects.
