Description

The Turnaround I&E Planner plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of all instrumentation and electrical systems within the chemical plant. This position is responsible for planning, scheduling, and overseeing the execution of maintenance and repair activities for instrumentation and electrical equipment to ensure optimal operational performance and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Planning:
  • Develop detailed maintenance plans and schedules for I&E activities, ensuring alignment with plant operations requirements.
  • Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to forecast and allocate resources effectively.
  • Job Preparations:
  • Prepare detailed job work packages that include all necessary documentation, labor, materials, and tools required for execution.
  • Ensure accurate and timely procurement of required components and equipment.
  • Scheduling:
  • Create and manage a preventive maintenance program for all I&E equipment.
  • Monitor and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in plant operations or resource availability.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, and safety teams to identify and resolve potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Act as a liaison between various departments to foster effective communication and collaboration.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, ensuring all documentation complies with industry standards and regulations.
  • Participate in audits and inspections, providing documentation and insights as required.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-effective solutions for maintaining equipment.
  • Engage in continuous learning and development to keep up-to-date with technological advancements in I&E systems.
