Job Title: Underwriting Associate
Location: 202B Hall's Mill Road, Whitehouse Station, NJ – 08889
Duration: 3+Months (Temp to Perm)
Shift: M-F (5 hours a day)
Pay rate: $25.15/hrs. on W2
Note: Job Schedule: 20 hours per week, 5 hours per day - When we get into our busy time, we may require more hours.
Roles/Responsibilities
Downloading renewal analysis template with core information for Underwriting Assistance review 90 days prior to renewal
Reviewing the policy Implementation document within 3 days of receipt to make sure it matches the quote
Sending multiline policies /endorsements to be booked and issued
Reaching out to brokers and overseas Chubb producing office for renewal information within 90-60 days of renewal
Sending policy copies to brokers as requested
Helping Underwriting Assistances / Underwriters review and resolve Work Comp criticisms
Additional tasks as needed
Qualifications
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Experience managing high-volume workloads efficiently
Strong desk management skills to prioritize tasks and maintain organization
Adaptability to quickly shift focus and respond to changing priorities
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be detail-oriented with the ability to compile, evaluate and interpret detailed information and data
Strong data entry and computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
Experience/Education
Years of experience – 1+ Underwriting Assistant
Skill set required – do they need to have Microsoft office, Excel, or Access Word etc. - Yes
Education – High School degree
